TDCC held an online Chinese New Year celebration. TDCC’s Chairman & CEO, Mr. Lin, encouraged his colleagues to continue working together in the new year to provide better and innovative services for the financial market.
Tien-Mu Huang, the Chairperson of the Financial Supervisory Commission, conducted an online inspection of TDCC. TDCC’s Chairman & CEO, Mr. Lin, led the company team, and the President, Mr. Chu, presented the business report.
Chen-Shan Chang, the Director-General of the Securities and Futures Bureau, Financial Supervisory Commission, led the officials of peripherals in securities and futures for the attendance at the regular press conference, releasing “Transformation Strategies for Sustainable Development of the Securities and Futures Market.” Mr. Chu, the President of TDCC, attended the press conference on behalf of TDCC.
TDCC held two “Onshore Funds Centralized Clearing Platform” conferences in Taipei. There were around 59practitioners from fund distributors, investment trust companies, banks, and IT related fields attended.
TDCC held six briefings for “ Operating Guidelines Governing the Solicitation and Use of Proxies for Shareholder Meetings” in Hsinchu, Taichung, Kaohsiung, and Taipei. A total of 348 practitioners from securities and shareholder services fields attended the briefings.
TDCC sent its personnel to attend Citibank’s “Embracing the Age of Innovation,” the online Asia Pacific Securities Leadership forum.
TDCC sent its personnel to participate in the online forum “How to Better Manage and Address Exceptions in Settlement” from DTCC, The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation of the USA.
The Chairman & CEO of TDCC, Mr. Lin, was invited by Business Today to its “Embracing Revolution, Creating Glory Together,” the ESG sustainable international summit in Taiwan. Mr. Lin delivered the speech “Examining Taiwan’s ESG Development and Challenges through Data” and was the panelist at the “Key Communication.”
The “Offshore Fund information Bulletin” on TDCC’s FundClear website has an additional function, “ESG Fund Section,” providing a further disclosure of relevant issuing information of sustainable investment.
Along with KSD, Korea’s Central Securities Depository Company, and KSEI, Indonesia’s Company, TDCC co-organized Junior Staff Workshop: the third Joint Online Business Forum. TDCC shared its business of the digitalization of equity securities, SupTech Platform for Bills, cross-border custody, and its ESG services.
